Holiday Housing Fair in Rauha by Lake Saimaa

The Holiday Housing Fair, a recreational housing event, will be organised in Rauha, Lappeenranta, Finland in the early summer of 2012. It will showcase a variety of holiday housing alternatives, ranging from year-round villas to small cabins, and from gardens to various recreational resources. This broad-based, diverse fair will provide plenty to see for everyone and tips for renovators and interior decorators of all ages.

Cabins and villas in the midst of nature

A total of 22 holiday houses, each more beautiful than the last, will be built in an environmentally friendly manner in this pure, beautiful ten-hectare fair site, using logs, plank wood or stone. You can enjoy viewing and experiencing both individually designed cabins, standard models from house factories and renovation projects, to be implemented on the shores of Finland’s largest lake, Lake Saimaa.

A sauna heaven will emerge by a shoreline path. There you will have the opportunity to learn all about new and traditional sauna types, as well as sauna-bathing practices. A wide range of bath barrels and quay solutions will be on show.

In addition to holiday houses and yards, the fair will also present construction, renovation, interior decoration and landscaping services. In the varied offering of this abundant marketplace, you may well find take-home gifts.
